Built Ford Tough Scholarship

As part of Ford Motor Company’s ongoing commitment of $1 million in annual support to the National FFA Foundation, Midwest Ford Dealers sponsoring scholarships worth $1,000 each for Kansas FFA members who are high school seniors or current college students. Scholarships are awarded based on agricultural and leadership experience, in addition to academic performance.


The scholarships are part of the Built Ford Tough collegiate scholarship program. The program is equally funded by Ford Motor Company and Ford dealers and has awarded more than $5 million in scholarships to more than 5,000 FFA members since 1997.

After years of continued support and thousands of recipients more than $12.4 million in scholarships have been awarded by Ford dealers in across the nation. At a cost of $500 to the dealer and $635 to Ford corporate, Ford will match a total of 500 scholarships that will be awarded in the name of the partnering dealer. Each dealer has the opportunity to sponsor as many $1,000 dollar scholarships as they choose.
