Kansas FFA Blue and Gold Golf Scramble Set for August 8

Alumni Foundation

Hesston, KS — The Kansas FFA Alumni and Supporters and Foundation is proud to announce the return of its highly anticipated Blue and Gold Golf Scramble, taking place on Friday, August 8, 2025, at the scenic Hesston Golf Course in Hesston, Kansas. This annual fundraising event directly benefits Kansas FFA members by providing scholarships to attend the Washington Leadership Conference (WLC) in Washington, D.C.

Designed to be both competitive and community-driven, the Blue and Gold Golf Scramble is an opportunity for individuals, businesses, and FFA supporters to come together for a day of fun, fellowship, and fundraising. All proceeds will help FFA members across Kansas develop their leadership skills, grow as civic-minded citizens, and return home empowered to make a difference in their chapters and communities.

The day will kick off with registration and a light breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. The entry fee includes green fees, golf cart, range balls, beverages, snacks, and a hearty meal to wrap up the day. Participants can register as a team of four for $400 or as individuals for $100.

In addition to playing, businesses and individuals are encouraged to support the event through sponsorship opportunities, which offer valuable visibility on the course and help expand leadership development access for Kansas FFA members.

“We believe in the power of leadership education, and this event helps ensure more Kansas FFA members have access to transformative experiences like WLC,” said Jackie Chandler, Executive Director of the Kansas FFA Alumni and Supporters. “The Blue and Gold Golf Scramble is not only a great day on the course—it’s an investment in the future of agriculture and leadership in our state.”

The day will conclude with an awards presentation, prize giveaways, and opportunities to connect with others who are passionate about agricultural education and youth development.
